Wound Cleansers
Description:
These solutions may contain a variety of ingredients, ranging from surfactants to
preservatives. According to the AHCPR guidelines,
pressures of between 4 and 15 pounds per square inch (psi) are the most suitable for
wound cleansing. The following chart was reproduced from the guidelines:
